The Canberra Community Chorale is a choir with a proud history. We became an independent community choir in mid-2017 after a previous existence as the University of Canberra Chorale. We gladly welcome new members, both new and experienced, and offer a free two-week trial membership if you are thinking of singing with us. There are no auditions. Rehearsals are on Fridays at 12.30 at the Cook Community Hall and run for two hours. We operate within the current ACT COVID-safe guidelines.

Our Music Director is Dan Walker, a composer, conductor and performer who is one of Australia’s leading choral specialists.

Our plans for 2022 include a concert on 22 May (see below) and a major work for which we will be rehearsing in the second part of the year, with a concert probably in November.

Our Accompanist is Lucus Allerton, a highly accomplished piano accompanist.
And we are happy to announce that there will be a delicious afternoon tea after the concert!
